A terrible place to do your cooking studies. The vast majority of teachers lack patience and empathy when it comes to teaching kids, apart from the fact that when you go to complain they take you for granted. Last year I went on Erasmus (on my own, don't think that the school helped me in any way) and if that weren't enough, there was no help to solve the different problems that arose during our stay there, I really don't recommend it to anyone. to study at that school that also suspended a friend of mine because they wanted to

Yesterday I finished teaching the Systemic-HS Training to part of the Leioa Eskola teachers and I want to highlight the human quality of these people, the interest shown and the dedication and humility provided, to learn this methodology that will allow them to improve the relationship with all their colleagues and also with their students and other people with whom they interact. With almost 20 years on the UPV/EHU Campus and four decades since its foundation, the Leioa Hospitality School is a benchmark in professional training. It has a large dining room (Txopitea) where students and teachers of the school get involved daily in the university gastronomic offer. A varied menu of dishes that change every day of the week, options for vegetarians, detailed information on the website about allergens, nutritional values, etc., impeccable facilities and professional and friendly staff as well as an unbeatable quality-price ratio. Without a doubt, a reference center and the best option for the university community, which is completed with the "Gourmet" experience of the Lukitxene Restaurant (reservation required) and the Liboa Cafeteria.

A luxury at all levels, quality, preparation and service. There are no words to put an adjective to it. The students are impressive, with Michelin stars, and the teachers advise from a distance. The price is very low for being a teaching center. Excellent.

Excellent service until the year after the pandemic (2021-22). Endless queues like a ranch, a slight increase in prices this year and a constant shortage of cutlery (spoons are constantly missing). The quality of the dishes has also decreased. A shame.

As a center to eat it is good for its price. As a student, I do not recommend it at all. I have been studying Kitchen Management for 3 years and this is my opinion: The teachers only worry that all the dishes and all the service turn out perfectly instead of worrying about your training. The teachers, except for a few, simply enter class and start reading from the book. If you want to learn, you must be self-taught. And forget about the students' complaints. We have been complaining for years about the attitude of most teachers, their treatment and their lack of professionalism. I have seen teachers disrespect, shout, insult... Fortunately, not all of them are like that, but if you are going to study here, keep in mind that they will not pay any attention to you unless you have spent years working in the kitchen and believe your 'friends'. Finally, and during the final practices, forget that you have a tutor. He's going to ignore you completely and won't even make the obligatory visits. Very lousy. The only positive thing to comment on is the facilities, very good.

If students of Kitchen Management and other middle/higher degrees complain about the teaching staff, imagine what both the teachers and the training are like if you take a Lanbide course... it is absolutely shameful, regrettable and mediocre to a fault. Furthermore, they use people as free labor in their own training and even in "internships" if you can call it that. I don't know how institutions of the Basque Government and the UPV itself allow this. It's a real horror. I do not recommend anyone to waste time, motivation and even dignity (because there is even a lack of respect as other students have already expressed) in smoke-selling courses run by a gang of shameless people who border on imbalance and lack respect.
